American roulette rules
If you would like to try your luck on american roulette, chips may be bought from the dealer at the table.
The chips used on american roulette are called "wheel checks" and one in different colours, so that the bets can be identified .
Every participant in the game is personally responsible for his/her stake. All bets must be physically placed by way of wheel checks. Cash does not constitute a bet.
As soon as the dealer requests "place your bets please", put your bet on one or several available chances. You may still wager your bets whilst the ball is spinning and until the dealer announces "no more bets please".
When the ball has fallen into one of the numbered slots, the dealer announces the winning number, collects all losing bets, and pays all the winners. Then a new game will begin.
On the so-called "race-track" you will find the numbers in the same sequence as on the roulette-wheel, so you will find it easier to place your "neighbour bets".
When you finish playing and want to cash-in, inform the dealer. You will be given value chips in exchange for your wheel checks, which you can take to the cashier for cash or to another table for more play.
What else you should know:
It is an European custom that after the player has been paid his/her winnings he/she puts 1/35 of the amount into the "tronc". According to legislation the casino staff is paid exclusively from this tronc. Money put into this tronc should not be considered as an additional tip for the dealers.
We want your visit to our casino to be "quite out of the ordinary". Should you have any questions, comments or suggestions, our staff will be very pleased to assist you in any possible way.
